Missions & Roles
POSITION: Under Production Manager/Site Manager direction, supervises the production team and general operations in accordance to what has been scheduled considering quality, environment and safety conditions.
• Organization: To manage all the production operations / tasks according to the production schedule and production supervisor instruction
• Management: To manage and delegate duties to operators and maintain full production team for each shift
• Safety: To maintain safe systems of work and assist the production manager in the safe working environment 
• Food Safety: To ensure all operations staff is trained on safe food handling requirements to include knowledge of GMPs and HACCP. To ensure all operations staff understands intervals in the process that may present food safety risks and understand what actions should be taken in such events.  
• Paperwork: 
- To insure that the paperwork has been understood and filled properly
- To check and validate the production paperwork
• Initiative: To work in an initiative spirit in order to improve on daily bases the way of working
• Data entry: 
- To ensure that the appropriate information is entered into AX 
- Complete dispatches, internal transfers, picking list, raw material receptions, and work orders
• To propose actions to improve and progress in the way of working
• To let management know about any malfunctioning into the system and propose corrective actions taking into account every side
• To take the initiative enabling the immediate solution of any problem faced by your production team
• Communicate to the manager any initiative taken to solve a problem

-Commit to train and appraise our employees in their adherence to our quality culture and food safety policy.
    1. Make sure that the following rules are implemented by the operators:
• To follow production instructions
• To maintain the standard of work, and work output
• To work in safe conditions.
• To wear and maintain in a good shape your Personal Protective Equipment.
• To learn and adapt to new duties/functions.
• To maintain all standards set by regulatory/SPF
2. To determine shortages in labour, or material or plant failure and bring any deficiencies to the attention of the production supervisor, site manager, and/or logistic supervisor.
• Responsible for the quality of the work performed by the production team
• Work under the responsibility of the Production Manager/ Site Manager or Delegate.
• Execute the following tasks:  
- Insure that the work is done in safe conditions for all
- Insure the product quality comply at 100% with the set levels, and try to solve directly any quality issues within your level of skill.
- Inform your supervisor of production line shortages
- Participate in production performance improvements (quality, safety, maintenance)
• Identify, register, and correct all malfunctions and inform the Production Supervisor/Site Manager
• Demonstrate the following skills :
- Work performance.
- Attention to detail.
- General attitude to company standard.
- Emotional stability.
- Safety conscious and willingness to follow safety rules
• Understand every part of the production
• Can fill a position of any worker when an operator is missing
• Make decision in accordance with Diana Pet Food/SPF North Ameria policy and Production manager instruction
• Able to evaluate any worker’s job
• Compile production folder and check relevance of information filled
• Train operators to use new paperwork
• Insure that procedures are followed and REC documents filled properly
• Insure that the production team is performing any operation in accordance with the GMP’s
Role with regards to HQSE (Hygiene, Quality, Safety, Environment)
Application of rules and procedures  
-Follow procedures,  instructions of the company  concerning his/her area of activity,  & rules relatives to HQSE areas within the company
-Alert in case of non-respect/disorder of procedures, HQSE instructions & rules within the company. 
Continuous improvement : 
-Contribute to the implementation of the continuous improvement program of his/her Department.
-Be willing to suggest proposition/offer to improve continuously his/her Department. 
• Execute and respect the company procedures and instructions
• Participate in the risk assessment
• Use progress sheet to increase the quality level of the company
• Act immediately to fix any quality issue regarding the product:
1. Cleaning
2. Tidiness

Respect the confidentiality policy rules, within the company, and Contribute actively to the CSR approach.
